For the longest time I have wanted to be involved in urban immersive mobile games; before the go game and pac Manhattan etc I toyed with some ideas and even organised a few large scale urban games but nothing was serious.
Over the last month, certain events have led me to think seriously about heading in a new direction, a direction that is very much aligned with my desires both ludic-al and intellectual .
With the mobile market in Australia maturing and micropayment systems not only available but mainstream with carriers here I believe that the time is right to dive into these opportunities and to start it up.
This year has been very busy with work, deals have progressed amazingly well both here and globally and I have been very operational in my focus and thinking. Partially, this has resulted in me focusing on my efforts on areas and external commitments other than blogging.
At the end of the year, I will have been working at/on AgentArts for 7 years!!! Its amazing to think about the journey that it has been and naturally the combination of spring renewal, an anniversary and the end of the year collide to bring my thinking to a head and indirectly to action.
My grandmother's passing a couple of months ago has left me with the financial resources to try a few things and most importantly...
